The Facility
The facility of Three Rivers is in the midst in the company of beautiful hardwoods on a secluded 19 acre campus. The location allows for privacy for its clients, but is conveniently situated in the midlands of South Carolina and is easily accessible to Interstates 20 and 26. The 86-bed facility's continuum of care includes an acute inpatient care, day treatment, an intensive outpatient treatment, follow-up aftercare programs and a residential treatment system for adolescent females.

Facility Services
The continuum of care at Three Rivers ensures that each patient receives an individualized assessment and treatment program. The admissions can be either voluntary or involuntary, and treatment is administered by a team of multi-disciplinary psychiatrists, activity therapists, social workers, nurses and technicians.
Adolescent Inpatient Treatment
Inpatient adolescent treatment programs, addresses problems of critical nature, and the system involves a highly structured programming.
-Ages 11-17

Adolescent Residential Treatment
The facility’s residential treatment programs provides a safe and secure living environment, so adolescents can be administered behavioral health care in a compassionate and caring set up.
-Females, ages 11-17
-Individuals with emotional and/or behavioral related issues
-On-site education with a licensed teacher
-A stable living environment away from their homes
Adult Inpatient Treatment
The adult inpatient treatment program offers intensive therapy, which provides medical and psychiatric stabilization techniques with 24-hour nursing care for clients experiencing considerably critical symptoms.

Seniors Inpatient Treatment
Inpatient treatment programs specific to senior related issues involves stabilizing the condition of the patient, evaluating needed medications and providing therapies, based on the assessment of an interdisciplinary treatment team.

-Combative or aggressive behaviors

Day Treatment Program
Day treatment is designed to help both adolescents and adults who need stabilization without the increased level of full inpatient hospitalization. The program provides a structured programming, scheduled between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, which allows patients to return home in the evening and maintain important family relationships.
An intensive, interdisciplinary approach is utilized in day treatment programs, helping to supplement the recovery process when traditional outpatient treatment is not sufficient or is not available. Furthermore, psychiatric day treatment provides a transition for newly recovered inpatient clients as they start to integrate back into their normal everyday lives.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Intensive outpatient treatment offers a conveniently accessible, effective treatment option for people with substance abuse problems, when hospitalization is not possible or required.
-Assistance in starting recovery and/or the maintenance of recovery
-Ability to stay on-the-job while being administered in treatment
-Provides a weekly multi-family group sessions
