Sunrise House
Active addiction does not exist by itself it flourishes in a complex environment which denotes a re-occurring biological and psychological disorders, behavioral addictions, behaviors of high risk, dysfunctional relationships, improper connotation of life skills and severely damaged personal histories. The consistent philosophy of Sunrise House Foundation that being clean and sober begins through the development, or rekindling of healthy relationships within the context of a safe, supportive, caring and secure organized setting. Guided by the principles and traditions of the proven 12-step recovery program, with a foundation of medical and social research, which engages the individual in treatment in an interactive group and individual process of care, this provides the medium by which the individual recovers from their tragedy.

The compulsion involved to continue in the process of substance abuse, cannot be fought by willpower alone. It is believed, that if the substance dependent individual is expected to recover, they must be introduced to the experience of treatment that is set within the context of respect, compassion, discipline, structure, kindness and hope, brought to them by skilled professionals. Every type of recovery is a process that is always in motion, and requires active and continuous effort, from both the client, and the staff. A 12 Step system, working hand in hand with clinical, and counseling therapeutic program models, creates a powerful synergy, which leads to self-discovery and understanding…this is also called “sobriety”. Please contact Sunrise House through 973-383-6300, or at 1-800-LET-LIVE.
