White Deer Drug Rehabilitation Center

The White Deer Run Drug Rehabilitation Center is one of the providers of drug and alcohol abuse treatment in Pennsylvania. The program is assessed and administered by a highly experienced team of multidisciplinary professionals, within this team is a Medical Director certified in addiction medicine, a licensed Masters Level Family Therapist, a round the clock nursing staff, certified addiction counselors and an accredited educational program designed for adolescents. The weekend program encourages the whole family to participate and includes educational groups which utilize conjoint family sessions.


The main facility is situated in Ellenwood, Pennsylvania, and is strategically placed on 150 acres of beautiful countryside. White Deer Run has also established three other inpatient facilities, which are located at Lancaster, Lebanon and Mt. Pleasant, including the Cove Forge Behavioral Health System, which consists of 9 treatment sites.

There are also a considerably large number of facilities for outpatients located all throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Each of White Deer Run’s facilities denotes a relaxed atmosphere that lends itself in the support of personal reflection and healing for both adolescents, and adults.

The treatment programs WDR administers all have something in common, and these are:
-Twelve Step Program Model
-transportation is provided to and from the treatment locations

Adult Services and Adolescent Services

-In Patient Non-Hospital Detoxification
Detoxification is always the first step on the rough road towards recovery. WDR inpatient non-hospital detoxification programs allow you all the time you need to devote, in minimizing your withdrawal symptoms.

-In Patient Residential CD Rehabilitation

-Mental Health Residential Treatment Program
Each of the acute Mental Health Residential Treatment Facility for Adolescents (RTF) provides a caring intensive inpatient service to adolescents with considerably severe emotional disturbances, mental health problems and acute behavioral disorders. The purpose of the Mental Health Program for Adolescents is to achieve stability of the primary diagnosis while still maintaining a level of effective function; this enables the adolescent to return, and to reside in safety within a community setting.

-CD Assessment
